Overwatch Season 4: Heroes of Busan introduces our new tank hero, D.Mon, and brings sweeping changes to the competitive system.
An exciting new era begins in the world of Overwatch. Season 4: Heroes of Busan, part of the Overwatch Reign of Talon update, invites players to the streets of Busan with a massive array of new features. The most notable development this season is the arrival of D.Mon, the leader of the MEKA unit, who joins the roster as a tank hero. Strengthening the front line with her close-range Plasma Saber and Power Barrier ability, D.Mon is prepared to shift the balance of power against Talon forces.
Major Competitive System Overhaul
The new season goes beyond just a single hero; the competitive structure has been completely revamped. With the addition of the Emerald Rank, players can now reach a new pinnacle in the ranking system. Additionally, the new Comp Rank Reset feature offers all players a fresh start for the new season. Furthermore, the Team Drives system, designed to support team-oriented play, will grant you much more exclusive rewards when you work together with your friends.
Significant changes to the Battle Pass system put the control back in the hands of the players. You can now choose which reward path to unlock first and exchange certain Legendary rewards for other items from the pool. This customizable structure makes it significantly easier for players to obtain the specific cosmetics they desire.
Finally, with the Shooting Star: My MEKA Mania event, you can support the MEKA pilots and complete special missions to earn seasonal rewards. Map adjustments, new Mythic skins, and highly anticipated surprise collaborations will also be with us throughout Season 4.
