PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Global Series 9 Grand Finals Excitement Begins
As the third day of the grand finals in PUBG Global Series 9 takes our breath away, details regarding critical advantage points in the championship race and the tournament format are becoming clear.
Excitement in the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS esports arena is reaching its peak! In this massive organization held as part of the PGS 9 tournament, representing the final of Circuit 3, the world's best teams are fiercely battling for the championship title. After advancing from the Survival Stage, the teams are now navigating a 15-match marathon to accumulate the highest score and reach the top.
Tournament Format and Advantage Points
This year's PGS 9 format was built on a special system based on performances from previous tournaments, PGS 7 and 8. At the start of the tournament, teams that placed in the top 8 in previous stages earned the right to go directly to the finals, while other teams fought tooth and nail in the Survival Stage. In the Grand Finals, an 'Advantage Points' system was implemented to make the competition fairer and more strategic. Teams that ranked in the top 8 according to the PGS 7 and 8 Winner's stage standings began the finals with a certain amount of point advantage, giving them a small but critical edge over their opponents.
The tournament rules are based on the classic SUPER format. The team with the highest score at the end of the 3-day, 15-match series will be crowned the PGS 9 champion. Throughout this process, teams' survival times and the number of kills they secure directly determine the overall standings.
Broadcasts and Viewer Rewards
For esports enthusiasts who want to follow the tournament live, multi-language broadcasts are being conducted via Twitch, Kick, and YouTube. Viewers have the opportunity to earn in-game 'Drops' rewards during the broadcasts, which start at specific times. The 'Watch Party' events organized by community streamers also enrich the viewer experience for broadcasts following Turkey local time. All eyes are now on the final day of play to see who will lift the trophy in this massive grand finale of the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS scene.
