Warframe: August 2026 Event Calendar and New Content Now Live
The summer excitement in the world of Warframe reaches its peak in August with the return of Dog Days, the new Nightwave series Amir’s Shockwave, and brand-new 1999-themed content.
August is bringing a wave of excitement to the Origin System in Warframe with a host of new events and fresh content. For Tenno looking to soak up the sun, the development team is introducing a wide range of innovations, from nostalgic events to new narrative experiences. Here are the most important updates and dates you will encounter throughout August.
Dog Days and Nightwave Excitement
The summer staple, Dog Days, returns on August 4th. This beach party-themed event features the usual intensive Event Alerts, weekly Floaty of Fury missions, and Affinity Booster weekends. By completing tasks during the event, you can add both new and classic rewards, such as the Daybreak Dax Syandana and community-exclusive Dog Days Glyphs, to your collection.
Shortly after, on August 12th, Nightwave Mix: Amir’s Shockwave begins. Hosted by the hex hacker Amir, this series highlights special Warframe: 1999-themed cosmetics. Items such as the Globakk Syandana, Kaneshell Atomicycle Regalia, and Teisatz Oculus will bring a touch of 1999 nostalgia to your Orbiter.
New Narrative and TennoGen Cosmetics
Also on August 12th, the small-scale narrative adventure "Fables & Frontiers: Running Late" arrives in the game. Under Amir's guidance, you will experience a tabletop game simulation within the 1999 universe, giving you the chance to earn the Atomicycle Key Sugatra and exclusive thematic Glyphs. Additionally, the TennoGen: Fables & Frontiers collection hits the store with this update, featuring stunning community-designed cosmetics like the Kullervo Ascophilia skin and the Oraxia Agamva helmet.
Finally, the new track "Running Late" by the popular in-game boy band On-lyne is being added to the game with this update. You can add this song, composed by Keith Power and Matthew Chalmers, to your Somachord via the vendor Amir in the Fables & Frontiers event and listen to it in your Orbiter. August looks set to be a packed month for all Tenno, both in terms of action and aesthetic updates.
