Warframe: The Tau System and the 67th Warframe, Brysko, Are Coming
Warframe's most comprehensive update, arriving in December, introduces the Tau System and the noir-themed detective, Brysko.
Warframe is preparing for the Tau System expansion, which will be released in December and is being described as the most comprehensive update in the game's history. With this update, players will venture beyond the Origin System and step into uncharted worlds.
The Tau System and New Regions
Players will gain access to the Tau System, featuring the ring-city of Fornax, controlled by crime syndicates, and the barren wasteland of Perita. Perita is described as a dangerous desert where the ecosystem collapsed after The Old Peace, now plagued by conflicts between the Dazannah clans. You will be able to answer the call of the clan's young heir, Catulast, to participate in challenging missions in this region.
New Warframe: Brysko
The December update introduces the 67th Warframe, Brysko. Voiced by Matt Mercer, this noir-inspired detective character arrives with a unique ability set, a Hound companion, and his signature weapons: the Rain & Shine fist weapons and the Corecracker pistol.
Brysko is also introduced with a new premium customization class, the Chimera Skin. This mechanic allows players to instantly switch between their standard Warframe form and a Chimera form that features a Sentient appearance and unique voice lines.
