Counter-Strike 2: New Silent Reload Options Now Live

The latest update for Counter-Strike 2 brings significant quality-of-life improvements, specifically to the silent reload mechanic. Players can now configure this feature according to their personal preferences.

Balance and gameplay changes

Two distinct options, 'Hold' and 'Toggle', are now available for the silent reload mode. When 'Toggle' is enabled, you no longer need to hold the reload key down to initiate a silent reload. Additionally, if you wish to cancel the silent reload and revert to a fast reload, simply pressing the key again is sufficient.

Bug fixes

• Resolved various issues where the reload sound could be heard regardless of whether a silent reload was requested.
• Fixed a bug that caused liquids to appear black on AMD graphics cards.
• Fixed audio and interface errors that occurred during rewinding while watching demos.
