Project Motor Racing Expands with the V8 Power Pack
Project Motor Racing is preparing to add nine new vehicles and the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta track to its garage with the V8 Power Pack DLC.

A new content pack has been announced for Project Motor Racing, much to the anticipation of racing simulation enthusiasts. Developed in partnership between Giants Software and Straight4 Studios, the V8 Power Pack will be available to players on September 15. This new update specifically focuses on the historical evolution of V8-powered vehicles and the racing culture of different eras. The most notable aspect of the pack is that it will introduce nine iconic car models from the racing world into the game.
The V8 Power Pack is not limited to just new vehicles; it also adds the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, which has been recreated using laser-scanning technology, to the game's track list. This circuit aims to offer players a new driving experience with its high-speed corners and challenging technical layout. With this content, the development team is significantly increasing vehicle variety by introducing three new racing classes.
Three Distinct V8 Classes and Details
The first of the new classes to be added, "V8 Evo," covers the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro models that competed in the 2023 Australian Supercars series. The second class, "USV8," includes the 2022 Dodge Challenger TA/2, Ford Mustang TA/2, and Camaro TA/2 vehicles. The third class, "Historic USV8," which will delight history buffs, brings classic muscle cars like the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302, Plymouth Barracuda, AMC Javelin, and the legendary 1968 Camaro Z28 back to the tracks.
This announcement follows closely on the heels of the Aussie Rivals pack, which was released for free last July. The Aussie Rivals pack contained the 2013 Holden VF Commodore and the revised 2013 Ford Falcon FG models. Project Motor Racing continues to expand its garage and deepen the simulation experience for racing fans through regular updates and expansion packs. The V8 Power Pack, releasing on September 15, stands as a significant content update, particularly for players interested in classic American racing cars and the modern Supercars series.
