Apex Legends: 09/10/2026 Cheat and Weapon Bug Update

The Apex Legends anti-cheat team has deployed a new update containing significant bug fixes to maintain the game's competitive integrity. This patch aims to eliminate critical weapon exploits that have recently gained attention through videos shared on community platforms.

Balance and gameplay changes

With this update, two major bugs affecting the Sentinel and C.A.R. SMG weapons have been resolved:

• Fixed an issue where a full magazine of bullets could be fired in a single shot.
• Addressed a mechanical bug that allowed these weapons to fire and reload much faster than intended.

Other confirmed details

In addition to these fixes, the development team stated that they continue to strengthen their cheat detection systems. Sanctions against players who undermine the fair play environment and efforts to improve existing security systems are being carried out continuously in the background.
