A technical glitch has emerged in Apex Legends, one of the most popular battle royale titles in the gaming world. The development team has announced that they have launched a detailed investigation into the sudden game crashes specifically affecting players with AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics cards. Acknowledging that this technical issue is negatively impacting the gaming experience, the developers are continuing their efforts to identify the root cause.

Temporary Solution for the Crashing Issue

If you are also experiencing such performance issues or freezes with your RX 9070 XT graphics card while playing Apex Legends, there is a temporary solution recommended by the developers. According to the official statement, there may currently be an incompatibility with the latest drivers. To bypass this issue and continue enjoying your game, it is recommended to roll back your graphics card drivers to the previous stable version, 26.7.1.

Rolling back the graphics card driver will often clear out error codes from new update files and help the game run in a stable manner. As GamePatchLine, we are closely monitoring when this issue will be permanently patched. It is expected that this incompatibility will be completely resolved with a new update to be released by the relevant technical team in the near future. For now, you can try entering the game with the aforementioned driver version and observe whether or not you continue to receive errors.
