Apex Legends: September 17 Update and Known Issues
The Respawn team is currently investigating critical bugs encountered during the first week of Split Two in Apex Legends.

For Apex Legends players, the start of the Split Two season has brought a week that is as exciting as it is technically challenging. Following feedback from the community, the game's development team has officially shared details on several technical issues they are currently actively working on and striving to resolve.
Key Technical Issues Under Investigation
Following the latest update, three critical bugs that impact mobility and game balance have come to the fore. The first involves the Alter character's ability; players have reported being teleported to unintended locations or falling into incorrect positions when using Alter portals. This issue can lead to significant strategic errors, particularly in competitive matches.
Another major problem has been observed on the Broken Moon map. It has been reported that when interacting with certain structures, players can glitch through textures, leading them to fall outside the map or beneath the floor. Developers have confirmed that fixes for this physics-related issue are currently underway.
Finally, a recurring complaint from many players concerns the failure to save user settings. Some players report that their personal settings and preferences reset every time they launch the game. Respawn has launched an investigation to resolve this configuration saving issue. Players are asked for their patience while these disruptions are addressed.
