Counter-Strike 2: New Update and Crosshair Adjustments
The latest Counter-Strike 2 update includes timing balance changes for the RUSH mode, detailed crosshair customizations, and various bug fixes.

The latest update released for Counter-Strike 2 updates the timing settings in RUSH mode while restructuring the crosshair system to work entirely based on pixels.
RUSH Mode and Balancing
In RUSH mode, the post-elimination countdown for end-of-round rooms and the Convoy map has been increased from 7 seconds to 14 seconds. This duration does not apply in cases where the entire team is eliminated due to suicide, team-killing, or disconnections. Additionally, the warmup time, freeze time, and technical timeout durations after player connections have been shortened.
New Crosshair System
The new crosshair system now defines values in pixels. As a result, the crosshair automatically scales when changing resolutions, maintaining its proportions. Other new features added to the system include:
- Added half-outline drawing.
- Introduced a fixed square crosshair style.
- Fixed the 0 gap width issue.
- Reduced the minimum dynamic spread distance to 64 pixels.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed silent reload animation bugs for left-hand view and third-person models.
- Corrected animation glitches during the Dual Berettas reload sequence.
- Clan tags now appear in kill notifications.
