Activity on the Minecraft front continues. As the development team makes final preparations for the eagerly awaited Wilderness Bound update, they have released the third release candidate for version 26.3, titled Release Candidate 3. Billed with the motto "third time's the charm," this small but significant patch aims to eliminate several frustrating technical glitches within the game.

Combat Mechanics and Technical Settings Improved

With this update, a change that directly affects the player's combat experience stands out. Previously, attacking a player while sprinting would slow your character down; this was frequently criticized by the community for restricting mobility. Now, the player's speed will no longer be reduced during a sprint-attack, offering a more fluid experience in PvP encounters.

On the technical side, important fixes have been made regarding in-game settings and optimization. Issues involving the VSync (Vertical Synchronization) option have been resolved; the problem where VSync status would unintentionally change even when the option was disabled in the settings menu is now a thing of the past. Furthermore, the annoying bug that prevented changes made in the "Server Resource Packs" section while editing server settings from being saved has also been addressed with this patch.

The development team is putting the final touches on the road to the Wilderness Bound content. This Release Candidate 3 package serves as a critical step toward ensuring the game runs much more stably and error-free ahead of the main update. We wish all players continuing their exploration in the Minecraft world happy mining!
