Minecraft 26.4 Snapshot 2 Released: Visual Improvements
Minecraft 26.4 Snapshot 2 introduces improved render distance fog, a revamped F3 debug screen, and numerous bug fixes.

Minecraft 26.4 Snapshot 2 has been released. This update focuses on technical improvements, including render distance fog, sky visibility, and various bug fixes.
Visual and Interface Updates
When the "Improved Transparency" setting is enabled, the sky background and clouds now blend more smoothly with terrain fog, eliminating the harsh transition line between the sky and the terrain. Additionally, in the Overworld, the lower half of the sky has been updated to correctly obscure celestial bodies such as the sun, moon, and stars. The debug screen (F3) has been completely redesigned for better readability and clarity.
Technical Changes
With this update, the Data Pack version has been raised to 122.1, and the Resource Pack version to 99.0. New environment attributes for managing sky occlusion and new height checks such as "below_heightmap" have been added. On the shader side, various adjustments were made to performance and visual effects, along with updates to several shader files.

- Corrected a typo in the "Oh Shiny" advancement.
- Resolved Z-fighting issues around the necks of small armor stands.
