The Rust community is facing massive changes that will completely transform the game with this month's 'Power Trip' update. Monuments are no longer just places to collect loot; they are evolving into a dynamic ecosystem that is interconnected and necessitates player interaction. The new power management system placed at the heart of the game directly impacts many elements on the map.

The Power Plant and the New Route of Energy

You can now head to the Power Plant and use new 'Heavy Fuse' items to start up the facility. The more fuses you insert into the plant, the more features across the island become active. For example, you can now climb utility poles along the roads without ladders and draw electricity from these poles for your own circuits. Additionally, recyclers outside of safe zones reach 60% efficiency thanks to the power provided by the plant; a special red recycler with 75% efficiency even awaits you at a fully operational plant.

That is not all! The new freezers inside supermarkets provide you with constant cold food powered by the plant, while a new water line system utilizing gears and pressure systems has been implemented at the Water Treatment Plant. Using new keys at oil rigs to pump crude oil to the Dome area and transporting this oil via tankers now requires a strategic game plan.

The Thrill of Satellite Crashes

One of the most notable additions of the update, the 'Satellite Crash' event, brings a brand new dimension to the Launch Site. By using 'tech trash' and an 'aiming module' via the Control Computer, you can direct satellites toward targets and create a massive wreckage visible to everyone on the server. However, remember that while you are cooling down this valuable wreckage to claim the loot, you will also draw the attention of the entire server. In the world of Rust, no move will go unnoticed anymore—be prepared!
