Apex Legends has released a major security update for PC players. All PC users have now transitioned from Easy Anticheat to the EA Javelin Anticheat system. The development team stated that this new system will offer more flexible detection mechanisms against evolving cheating methods and provide greater visibility into emerging threats.

Anticheat Transition and Known Issues

The EA Javelin Anticheat system is now live. Players must complete the update before launching the game. However, it has been reported that some players are encountering error messages during this transition period.

  • Players experiencing matchmaking issues or the "Party Not Ready" error are advised to switch their launcher to Steam for a more stable experience.
  • The team has announced that they are aware of these errors occurring during the system transition and are actively working on a solution.
