Core Wildcard and Apex KO modes have returned to Apex Legends, with a warning issued regarding potential increases in player queue times.
With the latest update shared for Apex Legends, it was noted that the Core Wildcard mode, which was brought back last week, will continue to be accessible alongside Apex KO.
Balance and gameplay changes
An important warning was issued regarding the matchmaking process for these modes, which were reintroduced in response to player feedback. It was stated that wait times may increase slightly, particularly in high-skill lobbies. According to the data, expected times for a successful match are reported to range between 2.5 and 3.5 minutes.
