About Apex Legends™
Starting October 7 at 10:00 AM PT, Apex Legends is initiating a new matchmaking test. Alongside this update, several in-game bugs have also been resolved.
Matchmaking Test
Cross-play will be enabled by default for all console players on US-West servers. This test, which runs until the end of the season on November 3, aims to reduce wait times and tighten skill-based matchmaking. Console players can choose to opt out of the test by disabling the cross-play option in the settings menu.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue in the Terraformer area of the Broken Moon map where terrain geometry would disappear, causing players to fall through the map.
- Resolved a bug where Gibraltar's skydive emote audio would continue to play after landing.
